This workshop is intended for active writers in the Los Angeles Area. It offers a creative and supportive enviornment to share your work, write new work, and give and receive critiques.
Every week we'll bring in a piece for critique, as well as offer different writing prompts and assignments to generate new ideas. Pieces brought in for critique can be finished or unfinished. You can work on as many pieces as you like, but you'll be encouraged to rewrite and fine tune your best pieces for a final reading.
A great way to connect with fellow writers, improve your work, inspire productivity, and encourage you to do what you love: WRITE!
Hosted by Eric Layer, teacher of creative writing at Barnsdall Art Park, and Jessica Garrison, Editor at Pale House Press. All final works from Writer's Lab will be eligible for the Pale House Collection 2010.
